What kind of Social Emotional Learning, or SEL, support do you offer your students?
At Uplift, developing our scholars socially and emotionally is just as important as developing them academically. Our goal is to prepare scholars not only for college, but to become globally minded citizens who are caring, principled, and open minded.
That work shows up every day. From kindergarten through 12th grade, our counselors lead age-appropriate lessons that teach important life skills like managing emotions, building healthy relationships, and staying safe. Our counselors also work closely with teachers, school leaders, and families to create a supportive environment for every child, and they train staff on how to support students' mental health and safety. Uplift Education
What sets Uplift apart is how we connect SEL to purpose and character. Uplift sits at the intersection of social-emotional learning and character education, focusing on purpose-based education in the belief that when students locate their purpose, what they do in school carries real meaning. The approach prioritizes connection over control, supporting the well-being of scholars and the adults who teach them alike. Greater Good
