The Application Timeline & Key Dates

Here is how the Uplift application cycle works from open to lottery.

• Applications for the upcoming school year open in mid-October and apply to all Uplift schools.
• Applications are online only and available in English and Spanish. There is no fee to apply.
• You may list up to three Uplift school choices in priority order on a single application.
• To be included in the lottery, an application must be submitted by the deadline of February 1 (by midnight).
• Applications do not roll over year to year — you must reapply each school year.
• Because spots are limited at each school and grade, admission is decided by a lottery when there are more applications than seats.
• Applications submitted after the deadline are placed on the waitlist if there are no immediate openings. Our waitlists move quickly, so there is still a strong chance of admission through the first day of school.
• You will receive an email confirmation once your application is submitted.
• Only one application is accepted per student, per school year.
