Pre-K 3 & 4 acceptance ages

Children who are 3½ years old on or before September 1 of the upcoming school year may apply to Uplift's Pre-K program.

Because Uplift Pre-K is a free, state-funded program, students offered a spot must also meet state eligibility requirements to attend. A child qualifies by meeting at least one of the following:

Living in a low-income qualified household (verified through SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF eligibility for the child, or recent paycheck stubs); experiencing homelessness; being the child of an active-duty, deceased, or injured member of the U.S. armed forces; living in state foster care; having a parent or guardian eligible for the Star of Texas Award; having limited English proficiency; or being the child of a full-time Uplift Education classroom teacher.

Supporting documentation can be uploaded during online registration or presented at your eligibility meeting.
