General Uplift Information
Uplift Education opened its first school in Irving in 1997 and has grown into a network of 45 primary, middle, and high schools on 20 campuses across six cities: Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and DeSoto. Today, Uplift serves more than 23,000 scholars in grades Pre-K through 12.
A few things that define an Uplift education:
It's a tuition-free public charter network, open to all students in the DFW metroplex. Every campus uses the International Baccalaureate (IB) model, which connects core academic subjects like social studies, math, and science to real-world concepts.
The results speak for themselves. Uplift graduates have a 100% college acceptance rate, and roughly 75% are the first in their families to attend college.
