Are Uplift campuses safe?

Your child's safety is our top priority, across physical, health, and emotional well-being.

Every campus is gated and all staff are trained on procedures to keep scholars safe. Each campus also has an onsite registered nurse with health protocols that meet or exceed CDC guidelines, and a licensed behavioral counselor supporting an inclusive, accepting environment.

Our campus security measures include gated and fenced campuses with locking vestibules and electronic access systems, security cameras throughout the school, locked exterior and classroom doors that are checked throughout the day, police officers on campus during the school day, background checks on all visitors and volunteers, and comprehensive emergency plans with active shooter response training and regular safety drills.

These measures meet or exceed the requirements of the TEA and the Texas School Safety Center. Keeping scholars safe is a partnership, and we ask families to stay attentive to their child's emotional and mental well-being too.
