Are children identified with Special Education needs or Section 504 plans serviced at Uplift schools?
Yes. Uplift provides equal educational opportunity and a Free Appropriate Public Education (“FAPE”) to students with Special Education or 504 eligibility. (Not outsourced) These services include:
- auditory impairment (from birth)
- autism
- deaf-blindness (from birth)
- emotional disturbance
- intellectual disability
- multiple disabilities
- noncategorical early childhood (ages three through five)
- orthopedic impairment
- other health impairment
- specific learning disability
- speech or language impairment
- traumatic brain injury
- visual impairment (including blindness from birth)
