Admission Requirements & Eligibility

Uplift is open to all eligible students. There are no academic admission requirements, exams, or interviews to attend an Uplift school.

Eligibility basics

  • Residency. You must live within the geographic boundaries of the school to apply and attend. Boundaries are established in Uplift's charter (similar to school-district boundaries).
  • Age. Students applying for kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year they are applying for.
  • Records after enrollment. Report cards and transcripts are required at registration (after an offer is made) for grades 3–12.

Verification

Uplift may verify eligibility data such as date of birth, residency, or the basis for an exemption. If incorrect information is provided on an application, the admission may be revoked.

Discipline history

Uplift may deny admission to applicants with a documented history of a criminal offense, juvenile court adjudication, or serious discipline history (including expulsion or placement in an alternative education setting). It is the parent's responsibility to disclose this information, including any offense occurring after the application date. Falsifications, misrepresentations, or omissions may disqualify an application.
